Profile Description
I was Born and raised in Chihuahua, Mexico, and moved to the United States in 2014–first to Kentucky to pursue my Master’s, then to Puerto Rico. Finally, I found what I like to call home here in the peninsula, where I plan to start and raise our family with my husband Michael. I enjoy living and working in such a close-knit community. My first round of dental education resulted in earning a DDS from UANL (Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León), after which I worked for a year in Monterrey, Mexico as a dentist and as a Junior Faculty at the university. Because I am passionate about research and wanted to do some of my own to contribute to the dental field, I then earned my Master’s in Oral Biology at the University of Louisville. For my second round of dental school (which was necessary to get my license when I moved to the states), I earned a DMD from the University of Puerto Rico. When not caring for patients, I love baking and cake decorating. The combination of diverse activities and scenery this area has to offer has converted me into an outdoorsy person, so I also enjoy moderate hiking, kayaking, and exploring the Peninsula with my husband. The Laurel Dental Clinic team has become my family away from home, and we hope you feel just as welcome here. We look forward to seeing you!
